The Original
Texas Concealed Handgun (Concealed Carry) of San Antonio

(Since 1995)
Cemetery
This picture was taken through my windshield on Memorial Day, 2009 at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery. It was taken without permission and published here without permission. I hope if this mourner happens to see it, he will not be offended for my intrusion on such a moving moment. This is the most fitting and beautiful tribute to a real American Idol I have ever had the privilege of seeing in person. God Bless our Military.
Do you really need to obtain a Texas Concealed Handgun license? Click Here to read some moronic laws passed by our looney state legislature
In light of our complex and changing society, more and more citizens of Texas feel the need to be able to protect themselves, their loved ones and their property from the bad guys whose numbers increase everyday. This law is not about being an expert with a handgun, but understanding how to act with intelligence and common sense. A Texas Concealed Handgun permit holder must have a basic understanding of the Texas Concealed Handgun (Concealed Carry) Law, as well as Chapter 9 (Force and Deadly Force) of the Texas Penal Code, and for this reason, our class instructors are all legal professionals from the Bexar County District Attorney's Office. We know the law and this is what we emphasize. We are not interested in teaching someone how to "pack" a tactical weapon or how to act as a "SWAT" officer. That is not the intent of this law. There are too many possible liabilities associated with this law to place your training in the hands of amateurs instead of professional law enforcement officers who share over 60 years experience in the field and deal with the law on a daily basis. Many folks say they like to hear the law from the people who may prosecute them if they "mess" up.

Since we started our classes in 1995, we have trained over 9000 applicants including many State and Federal Parole/Probation Officers. We are recommended by many law enforcement officers as well as the Range Officers of the San Antonio Police Department.

For any concerns, questions or comments regarding the Texas Concealed Handgun (Concealed Carry) laws, please feel free to contact us.
